Custom Song support is no longer a function of BMBF, per se. SongLoader's CORE MOD must support the version of Beat Saber in question. BMBF can patch a new version of Beat Saber, but until SongLoader is updated, you will not get custom song support. Never update until you know for sure that both BMBF and SongLoader support that version. The Basics
